MILESTONES AND MEMORIES
Skyhooks’ debut album, Living In The 70’s, spent its 16th and final week at number one in Australia this week in 1975.

Men At Work released their major label debut single, Who Can It Be Now?, this week in 1981.

ModelsOut Of Mind Out Of Sight entered the US charts this week in 1986. It peaked at number 37.

Crowded House’s self-titled debut album knocked off John Farnham’s Whispering Jack to hit number one in Australia this week in 1987.

Neil Finn announced that Crowded House were breaking up 22 years ago this week.

Kasey Chambers’ debut solo album, The Captain, was released in the US this week in 2000.

The Fauves played their 1000th show, at Melbourne’s East Brunswick Club, this week in 2007.

Happy Birthday to Dave Gleeson, who is 50 on June 3; Kasey Chambers is 42 on June 4; and Horsehead singer Andy McLean is 54 on June 5.

And we remember Lynne Randell, who died at home in Melbourne, aged 57, this week in 2007; and The Angels’ Doc Neeson, who died of brain cancer, aged 67, this week in 2014.
