MILESTONES AND MEMORIES
Five years ago this week, The Seekers received APRA’s Ted Albert Award for Outstanding Services to Australian Music.

Happy Birthday to John Paul Young, who is 68 on June 21, and INXS’s Garry Gary Beers is 61 on June 22.

And we remember Peter Allen (real name: Peter Woolnough), who died of AIDS-related throat cancer, aged 48, this week in 1992; and Wendy Saddington, who died of cancer, aged 63, five years ago this week.
